Tết, short for Tết Nguyên Đán, is the most important celebration in Vietnamese culture. It is a time for families to reunite, for reflection as we pay respect to our ancestors and parents, for renewal as we celebrate a new spring signifying a new beginning wishing for good luck for the entire year.
Join us for a day filled with traditional Vietnamese food, cultural performances, lion dances, Miss Vietnam Utah, Outstanding Student Awards, lucky money and fun activities for all ages. Come together to celebrate our heritage and bring in the Year of Horse!

The Carriage Square Shopping Center in Taylorsville is hosting a Grand Re-Opening Celebration on Saturday, May 11th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is free and all are welcome to attend. Since 2019, the Carriage Square Property Owners Association (CSPOA) Board and the City of Taylorsville have been working with state and federal government agencies to secure Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding to renovate the center. In addition to celebrating the new renovation and marking its grand re-opening, Carriage Square also wants to thank its customers for supporting the center’s businesses during the construction.
